The Engineering Manager is strategic visionary who designs scalable systems, whether through microservices or structured monoliths, while championing backend excellence and robust API standards. By overseeing complex data strategies across relational and NoSQL databases, they ensure high performance and security through advanced caching and modern authentication protocols. Their impact extends beyond managing a team of five, they collaborate closely with DevOps to optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, all while elevating the engineering team through proactive performance tuning and rigorous mentorship focused on maintainability and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in hands-on full-stack development and technical leadership, delivering enterprise level projects.
- 3+ years of engineering lead experience, managing a team of 3-5.
Nice To Haves
- Deep expertise in technologies including Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and modern frontend & CMS frameworks.
- Technical design architecture for implementing complex web applications and scalable backend systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in software architecture, database systems (BigQuery/SQL/NoSQL), and cloud-native applications.
- Demonstrated ability in delivery, scalability, and solving complex technical challenges.
- High standards of code quality, performance, and security across all project deliverables.
- Strong communication, leadership, and Agile methodology skills.
