About The Position

Cat-I Glass is looking for a Team Builder to serve as an Engineering Manager, responsible for both the factory floor and the maintenance department. This role requires a leader who understands the importance of preventative maintenance and can effectively manage and lead a team. The ideal candidate makes decisive, real-world decisions, fosters a positive team environment focused on retention, and has a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Requirements

Proven ability to fix recurring machine issues using root cause analysis, DOE, or SPC.
Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Understanding of thermal or chemical tempering, lamination, and precision edge finishing.
Hands-on manufacturing experience.
Ability to lead and manage people effectively, focusing on retention.
Decisive decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in ceramics process or manufacturing engineering.
Experience with ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

Own the factory floor and maintenance department.
