About The Position

Cat-I Glass is looking for a Team Builder to serve as an Engineering Manager who owns both the factory floor and the maintenance department. This role requires a leader who understands the importance of proactive maintenance and can effectively manage and lead teams. The ideal candidate makes decisive, impactful decisions, fosters a team-oriented environment focused on retention, and is respected for their leadership rather than just being liked. This position offers ownership of both operational and maintenance aspects, with a focus on practical problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven ability to use root cause analysis, DOE, or SPC to fix recurring issues.
Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Understanding of thermal or chemical tempering, lamination, and precision edge finishing.
Hands-on manufacturing experience.
Ability to manage and lead people effectively, distinguishing between managing and leading.
Focus on team building and employee retention.
Willingness to take ownership and responsibility.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in ceramics process or manufacturing engineering.
Experience with ERP/MES systems.
