About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Department. This position is a key leadership role responsible for guiding a talented team of engineers in developing innovative products, improving existing designs, and driving process efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and collaboration skills to deliver results that support our customers and our company’s growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required
  • 15+ years of experience in the electrical industry.
  • 10+ years of experience with field applications and engineering of power products.
  • 2+ years of international experience in the electric power industry.
  • Proven success in managing and developing engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using simulation and design software for components used in transformers, switchgear, and voltage regulator applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and a dynamic leadership style.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and strategic planning for all Engineering Department activities.
  • Manage and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee new product development and product improvement initiatives to ensure innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure engineering projects meet quality, budget, and timeline goals.
  • Partner with Operations to optimize manufacturing processes, product quality, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align product development with market trends and customer needs.
  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Develop team members into technical experts in their respective areas of focus.
