Your Role We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on our Fan and Club products. You'll lead the teams that power millions of tickets sold, millions of livestreaming hours, and Club sports programs and high school athletic departments nationwide. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, technical leadership, and management expertise to drive our mission forward.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in cloud technology and building highly scalable software solutions.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems that can scale efficiently and handle millions of livestreams and ticket sales.
  • Demonstrate a track record of driving technical strategy and leading engineering efforts.
  • Experience in setting technical direction for product areas like our Fan and Club groups and guiding your teams towards successful project outcomes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Strong managerial experience with a background in leading engineering teams, with skills in career coaching and performance management.
  • Demonstrate an AI-forward mindset and strong bias for agentic engineering techniques.
  • Proven communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and teams.
  • Experience in product partnership.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Product Managers to shape and solidify the team’s roadmap is essential.
  • Committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

  • Professional background in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB, and AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and drive the strategy for your teams, ensuring alignment with Hudl’s overall vision.
  • Foster a high performance, team-oriented culture by leading and mentoring engineers ranging from senior to new-to-career.
  • Work closely with leaders from various disciplines to plan and deliver enhancements across your product suite.
  • Serve as a technical leader, guiding your teams in the development of robust, scalable solutions on the cloud.
  • Drive acceleration of our software development lifecycle via impactful adoption of AI development tooling and patterns.
