About the role: Lead engineering excellence as an Engineering Manager, driving capital projects, optimizing production processes, and ensuring seamless plant operations. In this dynamic leadership role, you’ll partner cross-functionally to enhance efficiency, manage budgets, and deliver innovative solutions that improve safety, reliability, and performance. You’ll oversee regulatory compliance, utilities management, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing and coaching a high-performing engineering team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • 8+ years of project engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in managing engineering projects from concept through implementation and ongoing support.
  • Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments, including knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO standards, SOPs, GMP).
  • Demonstrated familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements relevant to manufacturing operations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, FDA).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering functions, including capital planning, budgeting, and execution of improvement projects.
  • Analyze production and facility challenges, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability.
  • Coordinate engineering activities with production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations and utility performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality systems, and environmental requirements while serving as the primary contact for external agencies.
  • Lead, develop, and coach the engineering team, driving performance, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
