About The Position

This role involves leading and mentoring cross-functional engineering teams, architecting modern applications, and driving technical delivery. The manager will be responsible for defining Agile processes, managing stakeholder relationships, and utilizing data-driven metrics to evaluate team performance and code quality. Key areas of focus include modernizing architecture, adopting AI technologies, and ensuring the successful execution of complex software initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including 5+ years leading global teams, mentoring engineers, shaping product roadmaps, and driving high-performance Agile delivery.
  • Extensive background building secure, mission-critical enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, React, TypeScript, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern cloud-native architectures (Clean Architecture, DDD, microservices).
  • Deep expertise designing scalable SaaS solutions on Azure (AKS, App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid) powered by robust CI/CD automation and modern API security practices.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate delivery, alongside architecting customer-facing AI features using Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI APIs, and MCP.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale third-party integrations, platform modernizations, and cross-functional partner relationships, with a strong domain focus in InsurTech, FinTech, and enterprise SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Led and mentored two cross-functional PODs (7–12 C# and React engineers in North America), driving high engineering standards through thorough code reviews, coaching, and positive team culture.
  • Architected fault-tolerant, highly available customer-facing applications, spearheading monolith-to-microservices migrations while integrating AI coding assistants and AI-powered product features.
  • Managed end-to-end execution of complex software initiatives, aligning resource allocation with organizational strategy while actively mitigating cross-team risks and dependencies.
  • Defined Agile processes, enforced clear Definitions of Done (DoD), and built strong cross-functional relationships across the broader organization.
  • Evaluated team performance, backlog health, and code quality using key metrics such as lead/cycle time, velocity, bug-to-feature ratios, defect density, and PR activity.
