specialize in manufacturing components for furniture, bedding, transportation,

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
• 7–10+ years of progressive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience leading engineering teams within automotive, transportation, or metal fabrication environments
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, and engineering change management
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA quality systems
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including: Metal forming and fabrication Tube bending Assembly operations Tooling and equipment capability
• Experience supporting new product introduction and manufacturing launch readiness
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, engineering documentation platforms, and CAD tools
• Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with operations, quality, and supply chain
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
• Detail-oriented with a practical, hands-on approach to manufacturing challenges
