About The Position

Circadia Health is a growth-stage healthcare AI company focused on preventing hospitalizations and improving senior-care operations through its Circadia Intelligence Platform. This platform integrates contactless sensing for vital sign monitoring, predictive models for adverse event detection, and enterprise integrations for seamless workflow operationalization. This role exists because the engineering team, while small, senior, and fast, needs to scale its operations to support a growing platform and patient base. The goal is to enhance predictability in delivery, ensure clear visibility of priorities, and allow senior engineers to focus on core engineering tasks. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for establishing the practices that achieve this balance while maintaining the team's current pace and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing software engineers
• 5+ years as a senior engineer before managing, and current enough to review a design
• Experience designing planning, prioritization, and estimation practices for a team
• Capacity to spend roughly half your time hands-on
• Experience managing engineers who work directly with customers

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery predictability, with risk surfaced early.
• Define and implement team practices for planning, prioritization, and estimation in Linear.
• Manage the growth, feedback, hiring, and performance of the engineering team.
• Spend approximately 50% of the week on hands-on engineering tasks, including code and design reviews.
• Balance per-customer commitments with platform health for customer-facing delivery.
