About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Water/Wastewater team as an Engineering Manager in our Sewickley, PA office. In this role you will use your 15-30 years of water/wastewater engineering experience to manage and lead a staff of civil/environmental/chemical engineers and CAD/designers. With your engineering experience we are looking for a willingness to lead design for phys/chem and bio treatment, PFD/mass balance development, P&ID development, site and equipment layouts as well as process piping and controls.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering with a PA, PE registration or ability to quickly acquire PA, PE through reciprocity.
  • 15 years+ of experience in the water and wastewater infrastructure design.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Technically competent, a team player and good communication abilities required.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to lead design for phys/chem and bio treatment, PFD/mass balance development, P&ID development, site and equipment layouts as well as process piping and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical and design services in support of water infrastructure projects (i.e. water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection/pumping).
  • Conduct preliminary evaluations, prepare various reports, produce design drawings, prepare technical specifications and prepare permit submittments for civil engineering projects.
  • Ability to prepare proposals and participate in presentations to secure new project work.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Lead the work of a project team.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the project are followed through to completion which includes clients meetings and relationships, project team members communication, monitoring budget and progress and A/R collections.
