About The Position

Givebutter is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead their Treasury pod. This role is directly responsible for delivering world-class financial infrastructure to nonprofit users, maturing engineering practices, and growing a team of skilled engineers. Engineering Managers at Givebutter are hands-on, shipping code, reviewing PRs, making architectural decisions, and staying close to production by monitoring systems and jumping into incidents. The role reports directly to the VP of Engineering, carrying out product vision while building a scalable engineering culture that breeds innovation. Responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery of excellent user experiences without compromising security, design, or performance, and cultivating a high-performing team by removing roadblocks, building processes that incentivize excellence, and bringing expertise in fintech and financial systems. The company has a strong foundation, powering hundreds of millions of donations to over 40,000 organizations.
