About The Position

As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About the Role: As an Engineering Manager in CrowdStrike’s Production Systems team, you will lead a group of gifted object storage engineers responsible for building, monitoring and maintaining our complex multi-cloud (on premise & public) distributed systems infrastructure with a focus on a rapidly growing third party object store. The Engineering Manager will play a key role in shaping the architecture and implementation of a stable, scalable and flexible production environment for a growing hyperscaler. You will be responsible for the workload management, well being, and professional growth of the engineers on your team. You’ll help foster an open and collaborative environment while enhancing the support systems utilized to enable your team’s success. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with a hybrid cloud 24x7 system in a critical production environment. You’ll spearhead the design, development and implementation of a custom S3-compatible object store solution that spans across thousands of physical Linux servers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution integration while providing mentorship and guidance to engineers on your team. In addition to leading complex technical projects, you will be challenged to drive improvements to the processes, systems and tooling being utilized to forecast hardware usage. If you are interested in building and leading a high-performing team tasked with solving new and interesting challenges, this is the job for you!
