Your role Lead integration of engineering scopes across disciplines, ensuring alignment of interfaces, deliverables, assumptions, and schedules. Coordinate and consolidate technical inputs from multiple disciplines to support proposal development and scope definition. Oversee processes, project specific directives, including scope breakdown, work allocation, and skills tracking. Assist the Engineering Director and Engineering Managers in resource planning, ensuring work is assigned based on competencies, and maintain visibility of capacity and utilization across teams. Lead development and deployment of tools and dashboards to track staff capabilities, scopes of work, and performance metrics. Identify and manage integration risks, gaps, and misalignments, and escalate issues affecting scope, schedule, or quality. Ensure engineering deliverables are structured to support downstream needs such as procurement, construction, and commissioning. Collaborate with project leadership, engineering managers, project managers, clients and external stakeholders to align execution strategies and priorities. Drive continuous improvement in integration processes. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on integration, planning, and work excellence.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in a core discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical) from an accredited University
  • Registered Professional Engineer in a Province of Canada (member in good standing) is an asset.
  • 5 years of design experience in their core engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading engineering teams
  • Minimum 3 years of nuclear or other regulated industry
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary work with significant stakeholder interface requirements.
  • Experience managing and/or performing work under nuclear quality management systems such as CSA N286, CSA N299.
  • Working knowledge of industry codes and standards in their core engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to travel to and potentially work at project sites to meet corporate needs (Note: the initial site location is at the Mississauga head office in Ontario)
  • Security Clearance with Public Services and Procurement Canada is a condition of employment.
