Joining us means more than filling a role—you’re accountable for results and impact. Our values guide how we operate, execute, and collaborate across borders. By putting them into action, you’ll help us scale faster, compete harder, and lead the future of global work. We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact team within our Growth organization. This is a critical leadership role for someone who is not only a seasoned manager but also an active practitioner in the AI-augmented development era. You will lead a high-performing team focused on driving specific user acquisition, activation, or retention initiatives for our customer-facing products. You will build scalable, reliable, and extensible systems using React, TypeScript, and AWS, while driving our shift toward "AI-native" engineering by standardizing tools like Claude Code to maximize team velocity and code quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of formal experience in engineering management leading a team of engineers.
  • Proven expertise in full-stack development, specifically React, TypeScript, and AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS, RDS).
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage LLM-integrated agents (specifically Claude Code) to improve software development lifecycle (SDLC) speed and code quality.
  • Proven track record of delivering customer-facing SaaS products with a focus on metrics-driven growth, conversion, and user experience.
  • Ability to distill complex technical/AI-related trade-offs into actionable plans for leadership and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical strategy for your team within the Growth organization, actively participating in the development lifecycle. You will lead by example, rolling up your sleeves to code, review, and architect solutions alongside your team.
  • Champion an "AI-first" engineering culture within your team, integrating Claude Code and other LLM harnesses into our daily workflow to accelerate experimentation and product velocity.
  • Partner with product management and data teams to define the technical roadmap for your domain’s acquisition and retention goals. Ensure your team’s output is built on modern, scalable architecture using React, TypeScript, and AWS.
  • Recruit, mentor, and grow high-potential engineers. Balance "human-led" mentorship with "AI-augmented" professional development.
  • Maintain high observability and stability standards. You are responsible for ensuring your domain’s experiments and product features meet rigorous quality benchmarks, even as we accelerate delivery with AI tools.
  • Foster a collaborative in-person environment in our Palo Alto office (Mon-Wed) to build team cohesion and drive faster cross-functional problem solving.

  • Flexible Time Off
  • Parental Leave
