Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years full-time software engineering experience.
  • Proven track record in leading high-output teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience with a blockchain based product.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coaching a team of engineers building the tools, pipelines, and workflows that every Phantom engineer (and every AI agent) depends on - spanning CI/CD, local/preview dev environments, code review tooling, and our AI coding infrastructure.
  • Being a thoughtful technical voice on developer productivity, paved paths, and AI-assisted engineering, and supporting the team and the broader engineering organization in making diligent architectural decisions about how code gets written, reviewed, and shipped at Phantom.
  • Collaborating with engineers and engineering leadership to turn the DevEx vision, making the engineering pipeline not just faster but wider in an AI-first world, into a tangible roadmap grounded in developer productivity and satisfaction signals.
  • Working with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire, and of treating internal engineers as customers whose feedback drives what we build next.
