About The Position

As a Cloud Engineering Manager for DevOps at Modernizing Medicine, you will lead an engineering team responsible for fielding, refining, and delivering AWS infrastructure requests across all product lines. You will serve as a bridge between application development teams and core cloud operations, maintaining stakeholder relationships, reconciling incoming demand with the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) roadmap, and identifying opportunities to build reusable platform capabilities rather than bespoke infrastructure solutions. The role involves leading, mentoring, and growing a team of DevOps engineers while fostering operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will partner with InfoSec and Cloud Platform leadership to integrate security guardrails, cost governance, and automated CI/CD pipelines into daily workflows. The position is hybrid, and on-call participation may be required to support production systems.
