About The Position

Amplitude is the leading AI analytics platform, helping over 4,700 customers build better products and digital experiences. The Data Warehouse and Integrations team owns how data gets in and out of the platform, importing behavioral and customer data from various cloud data warehouses and object storage, and pushing enriched event data to warehouses, object storage, streaming destinations, and downstream advertising and marketing platforms. This involves managing batch and streaming pipelines that handle billions of events daily, ensuring reliable connections across customer-controlled systems, maintaining secure credentials and configurations, and meeting strict latency and reliability targets. Recent projects include launching new warehouse export destinations, migrating import pipelines to a durable workflow engine, building low-latency streaming export, and supporting cross-region and cross-cloud customer storage. You will lead a team of approximately 10 engineers, reporting to the Head of Data Platform. You will be responsible for the team's roadmap, reliability, and the professional growth of its members. The technology stack includes Java, Temporal, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, DynamoDB, S3, and Snowflake, running on AWS and GCP.
