About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cathodic Protection & Corrosion Engineering team in Houston, TX. This leadership role is responsible for managing engineering resources, mentoring corrosion engineers, providing technical oversight, and ensuring the successful execution of cathodic protection projects across oil & gas, utility, and infrastructure markets. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cathodic protection engineering, proven leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate with operations, business development, and customers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of Cathodic Protection or Corrosion Engineering experience.
• AMPP Cathodic Protection (CP) Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of corrosion engineering principles, CP system design, and infrastructure protection.
• Experience supporting oil & gas, utility, pipeline, or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of corrosion engineers.
• Provide technical expertise in cathodic protection design, corrosion engineering, material selection, and survey methodologies.
• Plan engineering resources and support project execution.
• Review engineering designs, proposals, reports, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with operations and business development teams to support customer requirements.
• Assist with engineering budgets, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and engineering quality requirements.
• Serve as a technical advisor for customers and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Visit project sites to provide technical oversight and ensure successful project delivery.
