About The Position

The Engineering Manager, Advanced Products leads a multidisciplinary team of experienced electrical and mechanical engineers, translating customer and market opportunities into product concepts and enabling technologies. The role guides requirements development, technology evaluation, concept development, and technical risk reduction, while building a team equipped to solve increasingly complex problems with rigor and independence. It is suited to an accomplished electrical engineering leader moving from individual technical contribution into full-time team leadership. The manager leads advanced product development from opportunity through concept design freeze and ensures a clear transition to Product Realization. They provide electrical engineering judgment while drawing on the team's specialized expertise, shape technology roadmaps and product architectures, and partner with Product Management to align customer and market needs with technical feasibility and readiness. The position emphasizes technical judgment, disciplined learning, earlier risk identification, and developing engineers into strong technical owners. Gems Setra, part of Ralliant Corporation's Precision Technologies platform, supplies sensing and monitoring technologies. Its products include liquid-level, flow, and pressure sensors; miniature solenoid valves; proximity switches; fluid-management solutions; and instruments for humidity, current, vacuum, energy, and pressure measurement. The company describes its vision as connecting customers to their environment to create a safer, healthier, more sustainable world.
