About The Position

Teva is searching for a Maintenance Tech II (Packaging) to join our team in Cincinnati, OH! This role involves scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance for various equipment and facilities, including Packaging Lines, Manufacturing Lines, Building Maintenance, Grounds, Warehouse, Boiler, and Ancillary Equipment. The position operates on a night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a GMP manufacturing environment required.
  • Comfortable using computer programs such as CMMS for preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate well in both writing and speech.
  • Ability to interact with internal customers and work together to discover root cause.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and shop tools safely required

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary certificate/Assoc. degree in applicable discipline preferred.
  • Technical Training and/or working experience in a trade will also be considered (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical).
  • Experience working with packaging equipment similar to that listed above strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of PLC, VFD, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical, Food or Nutraceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing effective and proactive support for the operations department.
  • Timely closure of Routine and NRWO with proper documentation, e.g. Logbooks filled out and work order is detailed. Bring any issues to management’s attention.
  • Adherence to established policies, procedures and SOP’s.
  • Housekeeping of the Maintenance Ownership areas to include the Maintenance Shop, Boiler room, Penthouse and Compressor area, Maintenance computer area and other areas as required to support the team. Support of the 5S mentality.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of the packaging equipment, this would include but is not limited to; Bosch Flowwrappers, Uhlmann Cartoners and Uhlmann Thermoformers, Pester Casepacker, Palletizers, Bottling equipment, Vision Inspection Units, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical evaluation and repairs.
  • Work closely with internal client on root cause analysis.
  • Other duties as required by management.
