About The Position

The Engineering & Maintenance Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies, overseeing budgets, leading a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, managing vendor contracts and inventory, and leading root-cause analysis for equipment failures to minimize downtime and boost productivity.

Requirements

• BS in maintenance, electrical engineering or other related field desired
• Five to Ten years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum of 2-5 years in a supervisory or manager role.
• Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies, including Predictive and Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets, allocate resources, and control operational costs.
• Recruit, train, and manage maintenance technicians and engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
• Ensure all plant machinery, building systems, and engineering projects strictly adhere to local, state, and federal safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers while ensuring critical spare parts inventory is efficiently stocked.
• Lead root-cause analysis for equipment failures to minimize unplanned downtime and boost productivity.
