About The Position

Provide excellent customer and technical service for students, faculty, and staff accessing the rapid prototyping resources offered by the School of Engineering. This role involves operating, cleaning, and maintaining industrial 3D printers and laser engraving machines. The position also requires providing moderate design input on received drawings and files, working effectively as a team member with minimal supervision once trained, and demonstrating excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in or successful completion of ENGR 100 or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills and an attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Solidworks, GrabCad, Inkscape, Trello, MS Office Suite and other related software.
• Ability to work well as a team member, requiring minimal supervision once fully trained.
• Ability to provide moderate design input as drawings and files are received.

Nice To Haves

• Prior 3D printing experience is helpful but not required.
• Prior experience with Solidworks, GrabCad, Inkscape, Trello, MS Office Suite and other related software is helpful but not required.
