About The Position

Binsky is offering an eight-week Engineering Internship focused on Project Production Management. Interns will learn how to incorporate Operations Science into traditional construction practices and will be assigned to a current project for hands-on experience. The program includes individual and collaborative projects, a broad, well-rounded learning experience, and practical construction skills to support the transition from student to professional. Each intern will receive oversight and mentorship from a member of Binsky’s Production Management Team, with additional mentoring from the Production Coordination Manager and other department heads. The role is based at a field site in Central New Jersey. The program runs from June 7, 2027, through July 30, 2027, and pays $25 per hour. Housing or travel assistance may be available, and meeting performance goals and expectations may provide an opportunity for a bonus.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an accredited university.
Be entering the senior year of school, with an expected May 2028 graduation.
Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Be able to perform physical activities including walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and sitting for periods of time.
Be able to work in indoor and outdoor construction environments.
Wear steel-toe shoes or boots; other personal protective equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

Complete assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Work on a current project to gain hands-on experience.
Participate in individual and collaborative projects.
Learn and apply Operations Science in traditional construction practices.
