About The Position

HDR is seeking engineering interns for Summer 2027. This internship offers the chance to apply classroom learning to real-world projects that shape communities and create a better future. Interns will learn alongside experienced professionals, build skills, and explore career paths in engineering. This is a general expression of interest for future internship opportunities in Water, Transportation, Resources, or Building Engineering Services.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• 2+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Attention to detail
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD experience
• Local candidates preferred
• An interest in Power, Water, Transportation, or Building Engineering
