About The Position

We are seeking aspiring engineers for an Engineering Intern position. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology program. Prior work experience is not required; however, candidates should have a strong GPA and training in common engineering software such as NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MATLAB. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers while learning the responsibilities of a professional engineer.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Training in common engineering software such as NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MATLAB.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle dynamic work load and priorities.
• Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn the responsibilities of an Aerospace Application Engineer.
• Apply academic knowledge to practical, hands-on engineering work.
• Use seal design programs, software, and laboratory resources to develop and compile performance data for new and existing seal products.
• Create tools and documentation that support Aerospace Central Engineering, improve ease of doing business, and promote continuous improvement.
• Perform administrative engineering tasks as needed.
• Build an understanding of the product portfolio, quality standards, and business systems.
• Develop an understanding of the department’s core activities.
• Establish working relationships with key personnel.
• Provide support for engineering initiatives, potential material qualifications, and new product introductions as needed.
