About The Position

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Fall 2026 Engineering Intern to join their team in West Chester, Ohio. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in a leading industry environment, working closely with the design team, playing a consultative role, and supporting the field marketing team to build relationships with civil engineering clients and contribute to commercial objectives. The internship is ideal for students pursuing an engineering degree who want to apply their knowledge to projects involving civil and/or hydraulic engineering for engineers, contractors, and developers.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program, Civil preferred.
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients.
• Provide quality designs and advice to secure and integrate our products on site plans.
• Assist in the creation of engineering designs and plans under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
• Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
• May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
• Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
