The Engineering Intern role will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve a variety of technical issues related to manufacturing. They will be assigned a mentor to learn, participate in projects and help solve simple or medium-level cases related to production and engineering processes. This internship offers hands-on, practical experience in electronics manufacturing processes and systems/tools, exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, and the opportunity to work closely with Creation’s experienced team members. There is potential for future full-time opportunities with Creation upon completion of the degree. The intern may participate in the design, development, and readiness of manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. They may handle routine engineering tasks and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring compliance with quality standards and that products meet customer required specifications and standards. The intern may execute basic engineering tasks, assist in prototype assembly, and perform routine technical work under engineering supervision. A foundational understanding of electronics principles and manufacturing processes is expected, with the ability to solve rudimentary problems. The role involves reviewing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, collaborating effectively within the engineering team, communicating technical information clearly, and contributing to operational goals. Support will be provided in maintaining the equipment and tools necessary for electronic manufacturing processes. Assistance will be given in the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures, ensuring accurate records and adherence to company defined protocols. Continuous improvement efforts will be supported by providing feedback on existing processes and participating in new process development. The intern will aid in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining production efficiency. Other projects, duties, and responsibilities may be assigned.
