About The Position

In this role, you may gain hands-on experience across a variety of engineering functions within a technical organization. Responsibilities may include supporting basic CAD design tasks, participating in shop and lab activities, and assisting with the fabrication and testing of components, assemblies, and functional prototypes. You may contribute to the design and build of tools, fixtures, and test apparatus, collect and analyze engineering data, and document results through technical reports. The role may also involve researching new technologies and materials, communicating findings to the team, and creating or updating engineering documentation such as bills of materials (BOMs), process specifications, standard work instructions, and tool sheets.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in accredited university and actively pursuing a degree in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software
  • Can work 40 hours
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA off a 4.0 scale
