About The Position
KCI is looking for enthusiastic and motivated college students (rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students) to join our water team with a focus on municipal projects in San Antonio! Intern will work under the guidance of a technical manager within KCI's water engineering practice, gaining hands-on experience with real-world diving projects. The summer intern will work 40 hours a week for approximately 10 weeks.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a college engineering program focused on Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Enrolled in a college Engineering program.
Nice To Haves
- MicroStation or AutoCAD skills desired but not required.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating plans, quantities, and cost estimates for bridge projects.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting related to structural engineering.
- Complete field surveys or laboratory assignments specific to bridge engineering.
- Engage in entry-level engineering, design, or drafting tasks.
- Prepare engineering studies and coordinate design plans with other disciplines.
- Apply quality control procedures in alignment with ISO standards.
