Engineering Interns will work side by side with experienced Engineering personnel focusing on Manufacturing, New Product Design, and Research and Development. This role offers an opportunity to explore tasks and responsibilities by working alongside experienced engineering personnel to support Manufacturing, New Product Design, and Research & Development initiatives. The intern will assist in improving production efficiency through the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment, and support the development of jigs, fixtures, and automation systems to enhance operational performance. The role also involves participating in equipment installation, testing, and operational qualification activities, contributing to continuous improvement efforts using lean manufacturing methodologies, and creating/updating 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using GD&T standards. Additionally, the intern will develop P&IDs, assist in designing and evaluating digital and physical prototypes, support new product development (chemical ampoules, sensors, delivery systems), and contribute to electrical circuit design and prototyping. Data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to signal processing and sensor performance are also key aspects, along with documenting technical findings and supporting internal research reports. Hands-on manufacturing processes, including cutting, milling, machining, welding, and assembly, will be part of the experience, as will collaborating with cross-functional teams.
