About The Position

GP Strategies Government Solutions is seeking two summer Engineering Interns. The internship will last approximately 8-10 weeks and will be up to 40 hours per week. This internship provides exposure to real engineering operations, field support, and document management within an active technical environment. Interns will support our engineering team through a variety of hands on and administrative tasks, including organizing and digitizing historical documents and engineering drawings into company systems, supporting technicians and engineers with field activities and shop floor fabrication tasks, and drafting memos, procedures, and technical documents for the Engineering Team in support of ongoing operations.

Requirements

• Graduating high school seniors pursuing a science or engineering field
• Current university students pursuing an engineering field
• Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Fingering (typing), communicating, repetitive motions.
• Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting.
• Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements.
