About The Position
Chandler Industries - Montevideo is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer! This hands-on internship provides an opportunity to work alongside our Engineering and Operations teams and contribute to meaningful projects that support precision machining and manufacturing operations. This role offers valuable exposure to precision manufacturing, CNC machining processes, and continuous improvement initiatives while gaining real-world engineering experience.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural, or Quality Engineering
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Completion of Sophomore year and up
Responsibilities
- Assist with standardizing and updating Work Instructions.
- Evaluate and update machine fixturing and CMM fixturing.
- Review and update machining processes.
- Perform 5S machining workspace organization.
