About The Position

Rosendin's Summer Internship Program is a paid 12-week hands-on experience designed for students ready to take the next step in their professional journey. You'll gain exposure to the electrical construction industry by working on real projects alongside experienced professionals across areas such as Project Management, Engineering, BIM (Building Information Modeling), Estimating & Preconstruction, and Procurement & Supply Chain. Apply classroom learning while exploring career paths and taking on meaningful responsibilities alongside industry leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or later in a field aligned with Rosendin's work, including but not limited to: Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Sciences, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
  • Familiarity (or willingness to learn) tools such as Autodesk (AutoCAD/Revit), Microsoft Office, and engineering analysis software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow direction, ask questions, and take initiative.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Rising junior or rising senior status preferred.
  • Previous construction or engineering internship experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with electrical system design activities, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
  • Support the preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with basic electrical calculations, engineering analyses, and project-related deliverables.
  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineering and construction teams.
  • Support field visits and site observations to gain exposure to project execution and existing electrical systems.
  • Learn and utilize industry software, tools, and engineering best practices while providing administrative and technical support to the engineering team.
