About The Position
Qualus is hiring an Engineering Intern in its Engineering department. The internship provides hands-on experience supporting engineering teams on real-world projects, including preparing electrical design packages, creating drawings, learning quality-control processes, and supporting project documentation and general office tasks. Interns apply their coursework in a professional setting, explore engineering career paths, and learn from experienced mentors. The position is based in-office at a Qualus office location, with full-time or part-time flexibility available.
Requirements
- Be a full-time student in an ABET-accredited program pursuing a BS/BE degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Have strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Have familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Learn and assist with quality checks on electrical drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support project documentation and general office tasks.
- Apply company processes, procedures, and client standards in project work.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and gain exposure to a variety of project phases.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
