Our summer internships are full-time (40 hours/week), paid positions lasting 10-11 weeks. Engineering Intern Opportunities for Students Interns may support one or more engineering areas based on business need, candidate background, and location availability. Examples of work in each area are listed below. Research & Development Engineering Support design, development, analysis, and testing of engineering solutions during research and product development phases. Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis, and data-driven evaluation efforts. Support safety testing, regulatory compliance, and transfer of products from development into manufacturing. Operations Engineering Design and support manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment, machining, and material handling. Provide technical and sustaining engineering support within manufacturing environments, including equipment and process improvements. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and production yield. Quality Engineering Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols for materials, components, and finished products. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to support quality requirements and compliance. Support reliability studies, data analysis, and evaluation of design or test methods to achieve product reliability targets.
