About The Position

This internship involves owning and executing engineering projects with supervision, focusing on developing system efficiencies, CAD design, data collection, data entry, and project management. Responsibilities include creating/updating SOPs and P&IDs, developing URS and purchase documents for capital investments, equipment capability analysis, and spare part organization. The intern may also assist in inventing concepts and designs for new processes, complete basic engineering documentation tasks, and prepare a final project presentation. The role is based onsite in a manufacturing environment and requires the ability to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of college level courses pursuing a degree in an accredited engineering program, required.
  • Ability to work 40 hrs/week during the summer internship program onsite in a manufacturing environment.
  • General computer skills such as Windows and Microsoft Office, required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • CAD education or experience, preferred.
