Dubak Electrical Group is offering an exciting Summer Internship opportunity designed to immerse you in the dynamic field of Electrical Engineering within the industrial electrical sector.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program or a related field.
  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing in college.
  • Solid academic record (minimum GPA of 3.2).
  • Strong math aptitude skills.
  • Effective communicator with both verbal and written skills.
  • A keen interest in building a career within the construction industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of project scope of work as specified on contracts.
  • Learn technical writing skills developing functional design specifications.
  • Design industrial control panels to UL508A standards utilizing AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Develop PLC programs in Studio5000 software.
  • Develop HMI programs with FactoryTalk View software.
  • Gain a basic understanding of 3D design utilizing SolidWorks.
  • Obtain experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing control systems.
  • Acquire control system onsite startup and commissioning experience.

  • Develop an understanding of the electrical construction industry.
  • Learn the basics of controls, automation, and project engineering through a comprehensive 10-week structured program.
  • Take initiative in your personal and professional development.

  • Utilize software and technology tools efficiently (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
