About The Position

This internship opportunity initially involves supporting the integration of large, custom robotic welding systems including mechanical and electrical assembly. Exemplary candidates will have the opportunity to advance into Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Applications Engineering departments. Candidates must be actively enrolled in a relevant educational program, such as Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, etc., to qualify.

  • Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly
  • Interest in interpreting electrical and mechanical prints
  • Experience with hand and machine tools: drills, wrenches, screw drivers, band saws, mills, and lathes
  • Basic SolidWorks modeling
  • Familiarity with GMAW, GTAW welding and plasma cutting processes
  • Actively enrolled in a relevant educational program, such as Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Foreign language skills desired, particularly; Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese
