About The Position

We’re looking for an Engineering Intern to join our Boston team for the summer, 2027, someone who’s excited to support impactful roadway and active transportation projects that reflect our mission and values. Requirements

  • Undergrads: In your 3rd year or higher of a Civil Engineering (or related) bachelor’s program
  • Grad Students: Enrolled in a Civil Engineering (or related) graduate program
  • Recent Grads: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Ability to quickly pick up new concepts, skills, and programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or willingness to learn
  • Passion for active transportation

Responsibilities

  • Support impactful roadway and active transportation projects.
  • Prepare graphics for a new intersection design.
  • Analyze pedestrian survey data.
  • Develop materials for a public meeting.
  • Gain hands-on experience in the field of multimodal transportation in a wide range of contexts from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes to signature trail projects.
