About The Position

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking an Engineering Intern to join their team. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, industry-leading environment. The intern will collaborate closely with the design team, play a consultative role, and support the field marketing team in building relationships with civil engineering clients, all while contributing to commercial objectives. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program, Civil preferred.
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients.
• Provide quality designs and advice to secure and integrate our products on site plans.
• Assist in the creation of engineering designs and plans under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
• Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
• May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
• Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
