About The Position

Concurrent Real-Time is seeking a part-time Intern for the FPGA Workbench Team. This internship offers hands-on experience in designing and implementing real FPGA solutions. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers on meaningful projects, contributing to the full development lifecycle of FPGA IP modules for Arria X and Cyclone V platforms. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, looking to gain practical experience in the tech industry.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
Basic hands-on experience with FPGA development
Familiarity with digital signal processing concepts
Basic proficiency in C, Python, or Bash scripting
Eagerness to learn and solve complex hardware/software problems

Nice To Haves

Experience with Intel/Altera FPGA toolchains (Quartus Prime)
Exposure to HDL languages (VHDL or Verilog)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and document FPGA IP modules for Arria X and Cyclone V FPGAs
Debug and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance
Write Bash or Python scripts to automate FPGA IP module testing
Collaborate with software engineers to support API development
Tackle novel technical challenges and propose creative solutions
