About The Position

Manage a group of engineers to develop and deliver control software in C and MATLAB/Simulink for various hardware components within the thermal systems, on schedule. Lead development of automated test scripts to continuously verify the functional capability of software for airflow controls, coolant systems, and refrigerant systems. Support HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing and scripting efforts for the development of thermal control systems software. Proactively prevent issues, contain critical problems quickly, implement final fixes, and institutionalize corrective actions to eliminate systemic issues. Supervises 7 subordinates; 1 Software Engineer, 2 Senior Software Engineers, 1 Scrum Lead, and 3 Software Developers. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office. Multiple positions available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field of study
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a Vehicle Integration Engineering, Systems Engineer, Product Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Seven (7) years of experience with: Automotive thermal management system.
  • Five (5) years of experience with: MATLAB/SIMULINK.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: SW and system verification environments (HIL); and Vehicle testing and data acquisition tools including Vector CANape, CANalyzer, and INCA.
  • Two (2) years of experience with: Designing and releasing powertrain cooling and heating components; and Cloud Computing platforms including MS Azure and AWS.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools including Python, MS Copilot, and TensorFlow.
