About The Position

We are seeking an Engineering Electronics Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment supporting manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting skills, PLC experience, and a solid understanding of industrial automation systems.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of industrial electrical maintenance or automation experience.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC programs, including Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, and Allen-Bradley platforms.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electricity and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience troubleshooting servo drives, servo motors, and automated machinery.
  • Understanding of Ethernet, EtherCAT, ASI Bus, and ProfiBus communication systems.
  • Knowledge of relay logic, PID controllers, PMA controllers, and industrial robotics.
  • Experience working with sensors, proximity switches, vision systems, safety switches, and relays.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to safely work on equipment operating up to 480 volts.
  • Proficiency using electrical and precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and manufacturing safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • Experience with Lockout/Tagout, 5S, and ISO 14001 standards is a plus.
  • Hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and automation troubleshooting skills.
  • Analytical problem solver who quickly identifies root causes and restores equipment performance.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production and developmental electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair servo drives, servo motors, and automated manufacturing machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain machine vision systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, and Allen-Bradley systems.
  • Perform electrical work on equipment operating from 0–480 volts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Ethernet, EtherCAT, ASI Bus, and ProfiBus communication networks.
  • Install, wire, and verify proper motor rotation and electrical connections.
  • Support robotics and automation systems, including MotoMan robotics and related controls.
  • Follow all Lockout/Tagout procedures, plant safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Support 5S initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
