About The Position

We are seeking an Engineering Electronics Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, and automated manufacturing equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial controls, PLCs, servo systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC programs, including Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, and Allen-Bradley systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting servo drives, servo motors, and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, EtherCAT, ASI Bus, and ProfiBus communication systems.
  • Experience with relay logic, PID controllers, PMA controllers, and industrial robotics.
  • Understanding of sensors, proximity switches, machine vision systems, and safety relays.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to safely work on equipment operating up to 480 volts.
  • Proficiency using electrical testing equipment and precision measuring instruments.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and manufacturing safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout, 5S, ISO 14001, hazardous waste procedures, and environmental compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production and developmental electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair servo drives, servo motors, and automated manufacturing machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machine vision systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, and Allen-Bradley platforms.
  • Perform electrical work on equipment operating between 0 and 480 volts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Support industrial communication networks, including Ethernet, EtherCAT, ASI Bus, and ProfiBus.
  • Install, wire, and verify proper motor rotation and electrical connections.
  • Troubleshoot sensors, proximity switches, safety switches, relays, and industrial control systems.
  • Support robotic automation systems, including MotoMan robotics.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures, plant safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality policies.
  • Participate in 5S initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform additional maintenance and technical duties as assigned.
