About The Position

This Engineering Co-op position involves performing routine engineering-related work that requires the application of educational study and standard techniques and procedures. The co-op will collaborate effectively with technical staff and all functional groups, take on special technical assignments as required, and perform any other task assigned by a supervisor or management. This role is designed to provide practical experience in an engineering field within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Relevant course selections from college/university program.
• Understand basic Engineering principles.
• Taken courses in related Science/Engineering field.
• Strong aptitude for analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
• Familiar with engineering drawings and schematics.
• Self-directed/motivated.
• Work and communicate well within a team that consists of several engineering disciplines.
• Effective English communication in presentations, analyses, and reports.
• Must be project-oriented and be able to multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word.
• Must be actively pursuing a BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) from a four-year college or university.
• Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with modeling or simulation (ie. Simulink) a plus.
• Previous Intern or Co-Op experiences a plus.
