About The Position
BlueWave has an opening for a Fall Co-op on the Engineering team. This position will be responsible for creating PV solar and battery storage design layouts and energy models, creation of construction details, review of construction product submittals, and review of reliance documentation such as surveys and geotechnical reports. This role will support the engineering team to facilitate the creation of critical deliverables for the development and execution teams at Bluewave to push forward projects in design and construction.
Requirements
- In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office programs
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CAD preferred
Responsibilities
- Layout and energy model preparation
- Creation of construction details
- Review of product submittals at direction of subject matter experts
- Review of surveys and geotechnical reports at direction of subject matter experts
- Tasks designated by the engineering team as needed to advance projects in design and construction
