About The Position

RoviSys offers college students the opportunity to grow their careers while working with experienced engineers and developers on projects that provide automation and information solutions for complex client challenges. Co-op employees may work in Systems, Information Systems, or Industrial IT, depending on their interests and the position’s needs. They contribute to design, development, implementation, testing, and commissioning activities, working with RoviSys colleagues, partners, and clients. The role may include travel to customer sites for planning, commissioning, and testing. Systems co-ops design and develop automation systems, assess existing plant systems and equipment, use process documentation to define control schemes, and integrate customer systems, controllers, HMI PCs, instruments, and process skids. Information Systems co-ops develop and implement software applications that aggregate manufacturing data and produce reports for business decisions; configure and optimize technical solutions using scripting and automation; and install and commission systems connected to plant-floor devices while supporting operations personnel. Industrial IT co-ops map and design network architectures, configure and test infrastructure components, and install and commission equipment at customer sites. The position is intended for a currently enrolled college student in a technical, engineering-related, or control systems bachelor’s program. Candidates must demonstrate strong academic achievement, maintain a GPA of at least 3.0, be passionate about problem-solving, and be authorized to work in the United States without RoviSys sponsorship.
