About The Position

Greenheck Group is a dynamic, multi-branded international commercial HVAC manufacturer seeking a highly motivated Engineering student for an Engineering Co-op position in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The co-op term is either from January to August or May to December. Our equipment is used worldwide in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities, improving comfort, safety, and health. Requirements

  • Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing or Applied Engineering etc.).
  • On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters or less.
  • Interest in hands-on learning.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Experience working with basic hand tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support customer-focused solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

  • Building prototypes, conducting tests, and documenting results (Test Engineering).
  • Developing new products, redesigns, and customer-driven requests (Test Engineering).
  • Supporting daily production by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (Manufacturing Engineering).
  • Troubleshooting machines and driving continuous improvement initiatives (Manufacturing Engineering).
  • Contributing to layout design and process development to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety (Manufacturing Engineering).
  • Guiding products from initial concept to market launch (Product Engineering).
  • Designing, testing, and overseeing the production of new and existing products (Product Engineering).
  • Ensuring products meet market needs and company goals (Product Engineering).
  • Working across research, design, and manufacturing to ensure products deliver real value to customers (Product Engineering).
  • Conducting market research and analyzing customer needs (Application Engineering).
  • Assisting with product selection software design and testing (Application Engineering).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve products, develop training and marketing materials, and contribute to product strategy (Application Engineering).
