Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in managing engineering changes, analyzing data, or a related analytical position within a manufacturing or technology setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and reporting tools for crafting insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, hardware/software engineering lifecycle processes, and document control guidelines.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and collaborator management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis, process mapping, and process optimization techniques.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to express complex information clearly to varied audiences.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PLM systems, ERP systems, and collaboration tools is highly desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of PLM guidelines; experience with customization and configuration is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change orders (ECOs), ensuring all changes are thoroughly detailed and aligned with company procedures.
  • Analyze the impacts and dependencies of changes, performing comprehensive audits and data validation for hardware ECR/ECO packages.
  • Maintain a centralized repository for change-related documentation, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication, risk assessment, and decision-making on ECO updates.
  • Compile and analyze ECO metrics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements, presenting data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, supporting audits and inspections related to ECO documentation.
  • Provide training and mentorship on ECO procedures, analytical tools, and guidelines to relevant departments.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, and logistics for ECO meetings, ensuring the participation of key collaborators.
  • Monitor ECO progress, coordinating with activity owners to identify and mitigate potential delays.
  • Develop process documentation, reports, dashboards, and training materials to support downstream teams.
  • Apply data analysis tools to interpret change data, forecast potential issues, and support strategic decision-making.
