About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and repairing the existing appearance of property and fixtures, assisting with in-house remodels and working with outside contractors on larger projects for all Mesquite Gaming properties.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years experience in general carpentry required.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions and work independently.
• Must have effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s License and DMV Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and laminate cabinets, perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.
• Replace or repair with specific parts for individual problems.
• Moving materials and equipment to specified locations throughout the properties.
• Maintain an orderly schedule of preventive maintenance.
• Completing paperwork, as necessary.
• Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings when necessary.
• Strictly adhere to all departmental, company, and governmental rules, regulations and policies with specific attention to safety and environmental concerns.
• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure of shift supervisor.
• Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
